Tammy was born and raised in Alexandria, Louisiana.  She attended Holy Savior Menard High School and took business and accounting classes at Northwestern State University and Louisiana State University at Alexandria.  In 1994 she was imported to Lecompte, Louisiana where she has lived since.

In 1993 she attended Louisiana Technical College and received her Licensed Practical Nurse degree.  After working for 5 years, she decided to pursue her dream and open a catering business, Mangiare's Cookery and Catering.  She retired from her catering business and restaurant in 2004 for health reasons.  She is currently employed part-time by Poole Bros. Nursery as their accountant.

Tammy is a member of the Lecompte Rotary Club.  She has served as Secretary, President, Foundation Chair and Literacy Chair for her club.  On the District level she has served as Assistant Governor for 3 years, Youth Exchange Officer for 2 years and has been a member of the Finance Committee, District Simplified Grants Committee, District Conference Committee and is a facilitator for Rotary Leadership Institute.  She is also a Paul Harris Fellow and sustaining member of The Rotary Foundation.

She is married to Nick and they have 5 children between them, Jennifer Wynn, Nick Magnano, Nicole Magnano, Danielle' Gunter and James Chaudoir.  They are proud grandparents of 3 grandchildren, Tyler, Matthew and Cody.
